ACTION JACKSON
In 2010 Houston magician Ben Jackson became one of the youngest magicians to win 1st place at the World Magic Seminar’s International Close-up Magic Competition in Las Vegas, NV.
He had a lot in common with the presenter, Lance Burton, a former World Magic Seminar winner 30 years prior. Since then Ben has become the go-to choice for event planners around the country as a 2-time international champion of magic. Whether it’s demonstrating elegant sleight-of-hand at private parties or keeping audiences captivated as the master of ceremonies, Ben brings his fresh and creative approach to making any event unforgettable.
Companies contact Ben to spice up meetings, generate buzz at a trade show booth, or to strengthen their message to clients. He has appeared on NBC's TODAY alongside David Copperfield, at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, in HOUSTON Modern Luxury, and in the newly released book, Magic’s Most Amazing Stories.
Lastly, Ben competed at the 2012 United States National Close-up Magic Competition at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. He won 1st place, the People’s Choice Awards, and the Medal of Merit: an honor that has only been awarded 7 times since 1902. With an unprecedented “triple win” from the oldest and most prestigious magic society, it’s safe to say that Ben Jackson is taking the magic world by storm.

Ben made his national television debut on the set of NBC's Today Show in New York City. He was selected by David Copperfield, the most commercially successful magician in history, to perform for Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie on their segment entitled “Magic Mondays”. Ben’s sleight-of-hand piece utilized an autographed photograph of the TODAY Show team.
SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR
Ben was hired by director Robert Rodriguez to serve as the hand-double and private coach to actor, Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the film, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Gordon-Levitt portrayed the character of “Johnny”, a cocky gambler and cardsharp, and received sleight-of-hand instruction from Ben while on set. Ben’s technical execution of the one-handed shuffle and other card and coin flourishes were showcased in the film and helped bring Gordon-Levitt’s character to life. Other notable actors starring in the film include Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, and Josh Brolin.
CANDID CAMERA: BEN IN DISGUISE
When America’s first and longest running hidden-camera show, Candid Camera, was looking to implement a magical twist for their 2014 series on TV Land, they hired Ben. Whether he was playing the role of a warehouse worker, grocery store clerk, or party store representative, Ben interacted with unsuspecting members of the public as a “magician in disguise,” creating head-scratching situations while injecting the timeless situational humor of Candid Camera. Peter Funt, whose father, Allen Funt, started the program in 1948, selected Ben to be the first magician to appear in Candid Camera’s 60 year history.
